BIRDS OF A FEATHER

This will probably be made available as a quickpage but, for the moment, it's just to show you that I AM working on something when I can find the time. So many people liked my "sillybird" that I did for the August Members Kit at RAKScraps, that I decided to do a "Sillybirdy" - obviously of the female gender. I have more elements and papers finished than what you see here but it's not quite ready to be uploaded. I have a sad feeling that this might be my last kit. I really don't have enough free time to devote to scrapbooking but, perhaps I can just cut back and do a kit once in a while. If anyone is visiting, let me know what you think! :))

Ohhhhhhhhh... this is so cute!!!! I love the color combination you used! I understand the "no time" thing. I'm lucky if I can even blog-hop lately (yeah, it's been a couple few months since I found a few moments to stop by here).

Just my opinion... if you love to scrap and have time as a HOBBY, then please share! You make beautiful kits. If life gets in the way, then we WILL live... less a couple gorgeous kits though. I just love your stuff.

Hi! I love your birdy!

Re scrapping, I think you have to do what's right for your life and what you enjoy doing. I can see that you must spend a lot of time working on your lovely creations. An occasional kit or mini-kit is a great idea if you still want to do some creating.

Best wishes whatever you decide!

I would be sorry to see you stop designing, not just for the fact of no downloads, but the fact that you are a fantastic designer. I think I have every kit that you designed starting with rakscraps.

but you have to do what you feel is right. a couple of my blogger friends have had burn out. If your designing is not getting the traffic to your blog, or people are just coming and grabbing then by all means stop. dont let blogging and scrapping keep you from a life. me time is important for everyone. life is too short to be tied to just one thing. Once in a while for me is just fine.

Oh, I do love that little bird!! This will be another gorgeous collection.

I would hate to see you stop designing - I really like your kits. I am happy with whatever you have to share with us on a weekly, monthly basis - I am not a designer so enjoy seeing what others are doing. I will still visit your site to see what's happening.

This looks so cute!! I sure can understand about not having any time..somedays I don't know where it goes. My hubby has been sick all summer and I feel like I have no time at all. Visiting your blog and being blessed with your beautiful work has been fantastic.
Do what is best for you and your sanity - you have given us so much!
Your work is wonderful - I would definiely miss visiting here so if you can share even twice a year we would be most blessed by that.

I know you spoke of cutting back some time ago. Seems you didn't really cut back though so this time, please take the time you need for your family and life and whenever you feel like designing something and sharing by all means please do.

You are a very talented designer and I would not like you to stop for good. A small kit every month or two would be nice :)

Your generosity has always been appreciated.

You have a gift for creating unusual and appealing sets.
However,
*sounds like burnout is lingering
*family time trumps most other activities
*no matter how you choose to handle your time, someone will disapprove- be sure it isn't you

You might consider changing
*the number of kits you offer
*the complexity of kits you offer- easier on you and requires more creativity from others.
*the frequency the kits appear-alternating months or quarterly would please others and still give you personal time.

I know the fall/winter season gets rather crazy in personal life, people do understand.
