I finally have a new computer set up with just essentials and security so far.  I see the learning curve stretching into a few weeks.  Even the new keyboard seems a bit strange.  I find Windows 7 a BIG change from Windows XP.  I was never tempted by Vista but have no choice but to familiarize myself with Windows 7.  Why is it that the older one gets the more difficult change seems to be?  I was so comfortable with my "old" system but, I suppose, given enough time, I'll settle into the "new" one.  My big fear now is that Paint Shop Pro won't like the Windows 7 environment and I'll have to switch to some other program I can design with.  Anyway, here's hoping my old brain is not too thick to learn something new.   Keep your fingers crossed for me and, hopefully, I'll be uploading a few more Christmas goodies before long.  :))

Have fun learning. I got W7 last February and it took me awhile to get used to the differnces as I had XP for quite awhile. Like everything in life, when necessary you adapt and then wonder why it seemed hard in the beginning. have a good weekend.

I also had XP when my computer crashed summer of 2009, and Ted went right out and bought me what I have right now, and it's Vista, and I just about did a nutty with it because it seemed so different. I moaned and groaned for about 3 months, and they were working on Windows 7 and it was in the package deal that they would send one as soon as completed, which they did. I got used to Vista and now won't have Windows 7 as like you say, you get used to something and I just don't want to make another change. You will get used to it I'm sure, and don't worry if you don't get Christmas kits out, take your time and don't let frustration get the best of you. Congratulations, and it's good to see you on board again. Hugs and good luck.

So glad you are back doing again. I used your christmas kit to do the family christmas card this year. I think it turned out great. You can see it at Divine Digital in the members gallery.

Fingers crossed, my friend, I have had windows 7 for 6 months or so and I really enjoy it, the trouble is one has to update a lot of programmes, hope your Paint Shop works with it.
Looking forward to seeing what your poor old clever brain comes up with.
Work away, we are waiting. Lovies.xx

So far Windows XP has been my favorite version. I was forced into Windows Vista when I upgraded my pc, and I use it, but I don't see where it's better than XP. I just hate to have to learn a new way of doing things just because I upgraded my computer. Good luck with Windows 7.
